VIllage Rewards Terms & Conditions
These terms and conditions are all about ‘Village Rewards’ and the ‘the App’ (the ‘App’). Village Rewards is a scheme designed for members to collect points and earn rewards when they download the App and register to become a user. You can earn points that can be redeemed for Village Rewards benefits (Village Rewards).
Whenever we use “we”, “use” or “our”, we mean the Company. When we use “you” or “your”, we’re talking about you, the person using the App.

Information about us
1.1. VUR Village Trading No.1 Limited is a company registered in England and Wales under company number 00418878, with its registered office at Cygnet Court Ground Floor, 230 Cygnet House, Centre Park, Warrington, Cheshire, WA1 1PP
1.2. The Company operates the following websites in the UK:
1.3. https://www.village-hotels.co.uk/ (the ‘Village Hotel’s’ website) each a "Website" and together the "Websites".
1.4. The Company also operates the Village Rewards App (the App)
2. Joining Village Rewards
2.1 To join Village Rewards download the Village Rewards UK mobile App (via the Apple App Store or Google Play) for free and register using the following information to create an account:
1. First and last name, date of birth, phone number and email address.
2. If you have a joining code, enter this upon registration
3. If you would like to allow marketing communication, tick the box provided on the registration form. This can be changed at any time in the ‘My Account’ section on the App.
2.2 To register, earn points and redeem Village Rewards you must be 17+ and live in the UK and we reserve the right to verify your age.
2.3 Users under the age of 18 are not permitted to use their account or earn points on any transaction containing alcoholic beverages. Some must only use their Village Rewards account on their own transactions and not those of an adult over 18, in the absence of their own account.
3. How to earn Points and Village Rewards
3.1 Once your account has been registered, you will receive a QR code which will be located in your App. To collect a point, show your QR code at the till upon purchase in either the Pub & Grill, or the gym reception.
3.2 For every pound you spend in the Pub and Grill or at the gym reception, you will receive one point. Village Rewards that are available to you are based on the number of points that you earn. Each point is worth 0.01p. This value is set by VUR trading No.1 Ltd.
3.3 Points can be collected at participating Village hotel locations and points are then redeemed to earn Village Rewards. Points can only be earned or redeemed in the participating outlets advised within the App at the time of purchase. Points cannot be earned or redeemed in Village Franchised Starbucks stores or any other third party outlet that is operated at any Village Hotel.
3.4 Village Rewards are personal to the Village Rewards account holder and cannot be grouped with another account holder or transferred to someone else or their account.
3.5 Once points have been redeemed, these will be deducted from the member’s account and can no longer be redeemed. Points can only be redeemed once.
3.6 There is no cash alternative to Village Rewards available.
3.7 All points must be redeemed within 1 year of the date they are obtained. Village reserves the right to refuse any expired points.
3.8 Points will be calculated after any other discount is applied and based on your final bill or spend.
4. Checking your Village Rewards Balance
4.1 If your Village Rewards account has been registered, you can check your account balance on the App.
4.2 We receive the right to correct or amend the balance in your account if we think there has been an error or a mistake. If this has happened and you’d like to dispute, please contact us using our contact details set out in clause 17.
5. Stamp Cards
5.1 This loyalty feature contained in the App allows you to collect virtual punches on your App’s punch card. When you’ve collected a number of punches in the amount pre-determined by us, you will be eligible to get a Reward.
5.2 A “punch” may be a purchase in the pub & grill or gym reception, an action on the App (e.g. sharing something on social media) or any other action as determined by us. This may take up to 24 hours to load onto your App.
5.3 Subject to any specific punch card rules, whenever you make a purchase of that item at the Village Hotel, your the App punch card should be automatically punched.
5.4 We accept no responsibility for any delay in time for a punch to be loaded onto your account.
6. General Club Deals
6.1 We may, upon our sole discretion, determine that certain Village Rewards shall apply to registered club members, or to certain groups of members. In order to receive Village Reward(s) you may have to actively identify yourself to us as a registered member and may have to provide identification details (such as: name or phone number). If you do not actively identify yourself to us, you may not receive the Reward.
6.2 For Gym Members, and/or VWorks Members you will receive a discount rate on food and beverage purchases based on your membership subscription type via the App (Village cannot accept any form of identification to apply discounts). The rates provided to Gym Membres and Vworks Members are as follows:

6.3 When using discounts in the Village Pub & Grill, you can claim points on the amount spent after the discount has been applied.
7. Licence
7.1 Subject to these Terms, we hereby grant you a limited, revocable, non-exclusive, personal, non-sub-licenceble, non-transferable, non-assignable licence to download, install and use the App on a single device (whether mobile device or other) owned or controlled by you, solely for your private and personal and non-commercial use.
7.2 You may not use the App if you are under the age of 17.
8. Cancellation or withdrawal of your Village Rewards account
8.1 We reserve the right to withdraw the App programme with immediate effect without notice. Any unused points on withdrawal will be lost.
8.2 You have the right to cancel your Village Rewards account at any time, but you will lose the right to redeem all unused points and all unused Village Rewards.
8.3 We reserve the right to withdraw or cancel your Village Rewards account or take any other appropriate action if we suspect fraud, misconduct or unauthorised use. Once cancelled, you will not be able to redeem any stored points or Village Rewards.
8.4 Upon cancellation of your Village Gym Membership or VWorks Membership, Members may retain their account for use in Village pub and grill or other participating outlets within Village hotels, but will no longer be entitled to use any discount or specific Village Rewards earned relating to offers in connection with their membership.
8.5 If you breach any of these Terms, we may immediately do any or all of the following (without limitation):
8.5.1 Issue a warning to you;
8.5.2 Temporarily or permanently withdraw your right to use your Village Rewards;
8.5.3 Issue legal proceedings against you for reimbursement of all costs resulting from the breach (including, but not limited to, reasonable administrative and legal costs);
8.5.4 Take further legal action against you; and/or 8.5.5 Disclose such information to law enforcement authorities as we reasonably feel is necessary to do so.
9. Acceptable use of your Village Rewards
9.1 You acknowledge and agree that you are solely responsible for all acts or omissions associated with your access and use of the App and the access and use of the App by anyone on your behalf. When using Village Rewards, you shall refrain from willfully, or negligently:
- Modifying, copying, making available publicly, making derivative works of, disassembling, de-compiling or reverse engineering the App;
- Breaching these Terms or any other applicable guidelines related to the App;
- Interfering with, damaging or impairing the functionality of the App or any third party’s use of the App;
- Circumventing or manipulating the operation or functionality of the App or attempting to enable features or functionalities that are otherwise disabled, inaccessible or undocumented in the App;
- Breaching the security of the App or identifying any security vulnerabilities in it;
- Using or attempting to use robots, crawlers and similar applications or methods to collect, scrape or compile content from the App;
9.2 You may not access or use the App in order to develop or create a similar or competitive product or service.
9.3 We may temporarily or permanently prohibit you from using the App and take measures to keep you off the App, if we determine that you have abused your rights to use the App, breached these Terms, or performed any act which is harmful or likely to be harmful to us, our service providers, or any other third party or user.
9.4 We do not warrant or represent that Village Rewards will always be accepted at all participating Hotel locations. For example, in the unlikely event of a failure of our IT and communication systems, we may not be able to add Points or allow you to redeem a reward during such system failure.
9.5 We reserve the right to limit the use of Village Rewards if we are of the opinion that the App has been tampered with, duplicated, damaged or suspected to be affected by fraud, misconduct or unauthorised use.
10. Changes in the App
10.1 We reserve the right to change, modify, discontinue or cancel Village Rewards or any part of Village Rewards, at any time and in our sole discretion, without notice to you.
10.2 In using the App, you grant us your express consent to remotely send and automatically install on your mobile device, without any prior or additional notice, updates, upgrades, code modifications, enhancements, bug fixes, improvements and any other form of code or settings changes in or to the app, which, among others: Automatically and without additional notice, restore settings and preferences that had originally been set by a version of the App, but were then subsequently modified by another application; or
11. Change the App’s layout, design or display.
11.1 We may make changes to these Terms from time to time (for example, there is a change in the law that means we need to change these Terms). Please check these Terms regularly to ensure that you understand the Terms that apply at the time that you use the App.
11.2 We, may at any time, at our sole discretion, terminate or suspend the operation of the App, its services, feature, or any part thereof, temporarily or permanently, without notice to you.
11.3 If you do not agree to the changes of the Terms, you have the right to cancel your Village Rewards account at any time, but you will lose the right to redeem all unused points or claim any unclaimed Village Rewards.
12. Privacy
12.1 Personal information which you provide to us for the purposes of creating and registering your Village Rewards account will be held pursuant to our End User Privacy Policy which can be found here.
13. Limitation of Liability
13.1 Nothing in these Terms shall limit or exclude our liability for:
13.1.1 Death or personal injury caused by our negligence;
13.1.2 Fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation; and
13.1.3 Any matter in respect of which it would be unlawful for us to exclude or restrict our liability.
13.2 In any event, your sole remedy shall be to uninstall and cease any use of the App.
13.3 Subject to clauses 13.1 and 13.2, we shall not be liable to you, whether in contract, tort (including negligence), breach of statutory duty, or otherwise, for any loss of profit, or any indirect or consequential loss arising under or in connection with these Terms, our maximum liability to you in relation to your use of the App shall not exceed the outstanding balance of points held on your Village Rewards account.
14. Other important information
14.1 Each of the clauses of these Terms operates separately. If any court or relevant authority decides that any of them are unlawful or unenforceable, the remaining clauses will remain in full force and effect.
14.2 If we fail to insist that you perform any of your obligations under these Terms, or if we do not enforce our rights against you, or if we delay in doing so, that will not mean that we have waived our rights against you and will not mean that you do not have to comply with those obligations. If we waive a default by you, we will only do so in writing, and that will not mean that we will automatically waive any later default by you.
14.3 If you are an employee of VUR Village Trading No.1 Limited different terms and conditions apply that will form part of your employment contract with us.
15. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
15.1 To the maximum extent permitted by law, these Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. This means that your use of the App and any dispute arising out of or in connection therewith (including non-contractual disputes or claims) will be governed by English law.

16.2 If you have any general enquiries, queries regarding your Village Rewards account, please contact us via the contact us option within the ‘My Account’ section of the App.
