1. These Terms and Conditions are supplement the Village Standard Terms and Conditions which can be found here https://www.village-hotels.co.uk/tcs/

2. Definitions 

In these terms and conditions the following terms shall have the following meanings: 

Village Gym: means one of our state-of-the-art leisure clubs with the latest fitness equipment and a variety of fitness classes at a Village Hotel;

Village Hotel: means the hotel at which the Car Park is located; 

Car Park: means the Car Park in which you will park your Vehicle whilst you use the facilities at a Village Hotel; 

VWorks: means the dedicated business services and mobi
le desk facility in a Village Hotel;

Village: means VUR Village Trading No.1 Limited (company registration number: 00418878);

Vehicle:means any vehicle that is parked in a Car Park

Use of the Village Car Park

2.1 The Village Car Park must only be used to park a Vehicle whilst you are using the facilities offered at a Village Hotel and is subject always to the payment provisions referred to in clause 3.

2.2 The Car Park should be used by you responsibly and you must not make a nuisance or cause any inconvenience to other Car Park users or to Village. 

2.3 Village has the right to ask you to move or remove your Vehicle from the Car Park at its absolute discretion.

2.4 You should make sure that your Vehicle is secure and locked and that no possessions are visible.   

2.5 If you intend to leave your Vehicle in the Car Park for more than 28 days please let the host at the Village Hotel you are staying at know.

2.6 Caravans, Motorhomes, HGV’s, Coaches and Buses are not permitted to park in the Car Park without the consent in writing (email is acceptable) of the Village Hotel.

2.7       Disabled parking bays must only be used if you have a disabled badge which should be clearly displayed. 

3.        Payment for use of the Car Park

3.1 Village now charges for the use of its Car Park.  Please see the signs displayed in the Car Park for relevant payment tariffs. 

3.2 Payment for parking must be made in the Village Hotel. 

3.3 Members of Village Gym receive up to free 4 hours for every visit.  If a Village Gym member’s Vehicle is going to remain in the Car Park for more than 4 hours they should contact the Village Hotel reception desk and provide their Vehicle registration number.

4. Relocation of Vehicles and Abandoned Vehicles 

4.1 Village reserves the right to move any Vehicle within a Car Park by driving or other means as is necessary to avoid obstruction or for any health and safety reason. 

4.2 If the Car Park has to close permanently or temporarily or has to be evacuated in the case of an emergency, the Village reserves the right to remove any Vehicle at such a time to any other reasonably convenient location. 

4.3 We reserve the right to sell any vehicle which we reasonably believe to have been abandoned and shall be entitled to regard as abandoned any vehicle which has been in the Car Park for more than 28 days without prior notice to Village provided that before proceeding with the disposal of an abandoned Vehicle, we will; 

4.3.1 Make reasonable enquiries to try and identify and contact the registered owner of the Vehicle;

4.3.2 Give not less than 28 days notice in writing to the registered owner of our intention to remove the abandoned Vehicles a view to identifying and contacting the registered owner of the vehicle in question; 

4.3.3 Any abandoned Vehicles will be sold by auction whenever practicable and the proceeds of the sale will be applied in and towards satisfaction of all sums owing to us together with the expenses of sale and in connection with such sale we shall be entitled to charge reasonable garage charges in respect of the period during which the Vehicle is in our possession. 

4.3.4 Any balance of these sales proceeds remaining after satisfaction of such sums shall be held by us on behalf of the registered owner of the Vehicle and paid over on proof of entitlement. 

5. Liability 

5.1 All Vehicles are left in the Car Park at your own risk.

5.2 Any electrical charging points that are available are used at your own risk.

5.3 Village cannot guarantee the safety or security of any Vehicle or contents parked in the Car Park and accepts no liability in respect of any loss or theft or damage to your Vehicle or any other loss suffered as a result of use of the Car Park.
