The largest stone circle in the world lies just outside Swindon. Avebury Henge is a World Heritage Site built during the Neolithic period. A can’t-miss if you’re in the area. It's also free to visit, with a museum nearby to teach you all about the neolithic display.

Birdland and gardens

Nestled in 9 acres of gardens and woodland over the Windrush River, is a great day out for the whole family. Visit the home of 500 birds including flamingos, penguins, cranes and more!

Jungle Parc is an aerial adventure activity facility and Xplorer course set in the woodlands of Lydiard Park.
